I first heard of Spotify on this weeks gadget show, very kindly reviewed by Gale Porter who incidentally still looks good without hair!  I quickly looked it up at www.spotify.com signed up for a free account and off I went.

What is Spotify I hear you cry, here’s the blurb from their website:

So there you have it free music to listen to whilst connected to the internet, there’s thousands of tracks to choose from what more can you ask for?  There are some adverts on the free version but they are so few and far between that you hardly notice them.  If my car had internet access I wouldn’t need my iPod!  Hmmmm…….

www.priorypaving.biz  is one of my many attempts at web design, a family member asked me if i could design a website for him to promote his paving and tarmac driveway business.  The brief was to make a brochure type website with a gallery function to show off examples of types of work undertaken, and to make the website as easy as possible to navigate.  I like a clean looking website, and one of my ideas was to make it validate in XHTML and CSS, as some say this helps SEO.  All of these objectives were achieved.

The image galleries are Flash based and they provide a little interest as the images are scattered onto the page randomly as thumbnails, when the images are clicked they zoom in from the background.

www.cadtechnician.co.uk is a recently developed site, its aim is to provide information regarding past projects I have been involved with and the drawing services that I can provide.

The cad work I am currently undertaking is mainly structural,  this can range from small timber details for the home owner to reinforced concrete floor slabs and portal frames for industrial units.

The site has links to example drawings and photographs showing the range of projects which I have been involved with, which are continually being updated.
