Apo Mtd 157 Snowboard

This year the MTS’s construction has changed completely, with a biax fibreglass sandwich boosted by a carbon cross! Matt Dano worked the development of this board so that he could use it on the icy Saint Sauveur park, the Whistler back-country and Montreal rails! The result : a powerful, snappy MTD!Fibreglass Construction : The 0/90 degree fibreglass weave has 80{f344fcdd5c2f0488e4989b8c5afd2fd0fc4ceabf32c4bacdc15aa9ae5b120c72} of its weight in the axis of the board and 20{f344fcdd5c2f0488e4989b8c5afd2fd0fc4ceabf32c4bacdc15aa9ae5b120c72} sideways. It gives the board good pop and precise turns, yet keeps it manoeuvrable and more forgiving than with tri-ax fibreglass.Shape : 90{f344fcdd5c2f0488e4989b8c5afd2fd0fc4ceabf32c4bacdc15aa9ae5b120c72} Twin Tip: Tip and tail radius are nearly identical, the wood core and inserts are centred, and the sidecut radius is much shorter, making these boards the perfect freestyle toy.Flex Distribution :Extended Flex ; The wood core has a bigger dip in the thickness between the inserts to make the board more manoeuverable however maintaining its stability and at high speed.Core : 100{f344fcdd5c2f0488e4989b8c5afd2fd0fc4ceabf32c4bacdc15aa9ae5b120c72} poplar wood core. You’ll master the board really quickly thanks to this all round, comfortable wood core.

Xi-Pop : The I-POP is boosted by two carbon crosses between tip / tail inserts, to make the boards even more snappy and responsive. You ollies and turns are going to surprise you!

Power Inserts : To make it possible to set yourself back more on big powder days, Apo have added a line of inserts behind both bindings.

Base : Sintered 2000; This is the standard in sintered bases and offers better gliding performance and strength. These bases are more resistant to shocks, rocks and metal! Be sure to wax your base often to get the most out of it. A stone ground base that glides much better on wet snow thanks to the structure which enables the water drops to escape quicker under the board.
