Established in 1993, Silvalea Ltd has achieved and maintained a high reputation within the replacement sling industry. They have a database of over 850 sling designs, ranging from basic standard designs through to those required for the most complex of medical conditions, in sizes ranging from Paediatric through to Bariatric.The company was set up alongside the introduction of the first Manual Handling Regulations (1992) and the 90/269/EEC Directive.
In 1994 Silvalea Ltd was accredited with BS EN ISO 9002:1994 and through extensive ongoing development they were then accredited with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for design, being one of the first companies in the industry to have this accreditation.
